We talked to some of the leading business people in the field to get their take on the new Amazon Business program.

Amazon Business is free to sign up for: You don’t need to have an Amazon Business to sign-up.
If you’re already a member of Amazon Prime, the company is giving away a free two-year subscription.
It also offers an opportunity to upgrade to a full-fledged business account for $7.99 per month.
There’s no annual fee, so you don’t have to worry about paying any extra money for the service.

Amazon’s Business account is a free one-time signup: You can get a full membership for $19.99.
That includes Amazon Prime for 30 days and a full Amazon Business for 12 months.
That’s right, Amazon will give you your full membership as an annual membership.
Once you’ve purchased the full membership, you’ll receive your Amazon Business email within 30 days of joining.
It’s an easy way to get your business started.

You can sign up to a business account as a single transaction: Yes, you can sign-in as a transaction to signup to a Business account.
That means you don,t need to sign a contract to start your Business account, or do anything else to get started.

Amazon lets you sign up in a single day: Yes.
It says, “Signing up in the same day is easier than signing up over the weekend or following a scheduled appointment.”
It also says that the program is available from midnight (ET) on Sunday through Monday.
The business account will automatically be activated the next business day.

Amazon will let you keep a business and/or business email: Yes you can keep a personal and business email address for your Business Account.
You’ll also get access to the Business Profile.

Amazon gives you the ability to change the email address: You’ll be able to change your email address at any time, and you can also opt-out of email delivery from the Business Account at any point.

The Business Account has unlimited use: Yes if you have an active Business Account, you get access over time to manage all your Business transactions.
There are no limits on the number of Business transactions you can manage.
Amazon also lets you manage business email, phone numbers, and more at any moment.

The Free Business account doesn’t have any bells and whistles: The Business account comes with a free Business email account.
If Amazon wants to keep your email, you will have to pay $2.99 a month for it.
It will also get the ability a Business Profile email address.

Amazon says you’ll be notified by email when a Business Account is added to your account: Yes your email will get added to the business account, and your Business Profile and Business email will be automatically updated every month.
Amazon said it’s a one-off payment, so it’s not a recurring charge.
You’re not paying for a full month.

Business Accounts have no limit on the amount you can add to your business: Yes Business accounts are available for up to $2 million in total.
They can’t have more than $1.5 million in transactions.

You also get unlimited email access, so the number you choose to keep will also keep you up to date on business news and promotions.

You won’t be able add Business Accounts to your Amazon Prime account: You will have the option to add a Business Business account to your Prime account, but Amazon says it’s only a one time sign-on.
You must also keep the Business Business Account active.
The company says you can use the Business business account to manage other accounts.

Amazon is letting you create an account as an individual and then create multiple Business Accounts with your email.
You have the same rights as a regular Amazon account.
You will also be able create a Business business with your credit card and pay bills on the Business Card.

Business Account will allow you to set up email for your personal and company email accounts: Yes that means you can set up an email account for your own personal email and personal business email.
Your business email and business business email will sync.
You need to set a password on your business email account to access your personal email.

Business accounts don’t require credit cards: Yes it doesn’t require a credit card to use a Business.
The account can also be used to buy goods, services, or even create a business for your family or friends.
